{"id":480,"date":"2024-09-07T11:22:43","date_gmt":"2024-09-07T15:22:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/macchiinc.com\/?p=480"},"modified":"2025-04-08T11:26:51","modified_gmt":"2025-04-08T15:26:51","slug":"have-you-ever-heard-of-truffled-dwarf-peaches","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/macchiinc.com\/en\/have-you-ever-heard-of-truffled-dwarf-peaches\/","title":{"rendered":"Have You Ever Heard Of Truffled Dwarf Peaches?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The new \u201cDiva\u201d is in town and she is here to stay and rock every plate and party!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have you ever heard of \u201cTruffled Dwarf Peaches\u201d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neither had I, until five years ago when I met with the person that is now supplying Macchi Inc. with this unique and one of a kind product, you can grow them in your house and use the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/grass-killer.com\/\">best grass killer<\/a>&nbsp;to keep them safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All these years that I\u2019ve been in this business, I have never come across them anywhere else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This product is based on the same idea as green tomatoes and any other vegetable that is normally pickled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the fall, before winter arrives the farmers pick the unripe peaches, so they would not go to waste. Then, they pickle them in vinegar to conserve the peaches and consume them like any other pickle.<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP\/\/\/yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.macchiinc.com\/wp-includes\/js\/tinymce\/plugins\/wordpress\/img\/trans.gif\" alt=\"\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload\" src=\"https:\/\/www.macchiinc.com\/wp-includes\/js\/tinymce\/plugins\/wordpress\/img\/trans.gif\" alt=\"\"><\/noscript><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our supplier that is based in Frosolone, Molise in Italy, added his twist to the product by soaking these peaches in sunflower oil and infusing the oil with truffle essence. This last step has created a very different flavor profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What does this \u201cgem\u201d taste and look like?<br>\u2026like something you\u2019ve never tasted before!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Very subtle in its taste, just enough truffle essence to know that this is a truffled product, but not to over power the dish that you are using it on and it adds a pleasant crunch and acidity to any salad or carpaccio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They look like large green olives but since they are picked before maturity, the pit is not yet developed which makes them a breeze to work with in comparison to olives and since they are so firm in texture it makes them so versatile in presentaton in comparison to caper berries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right now we don\u2019t have any stores selling this product to the public since there is not enough knowledge about it out there to create a demand.
